Who was your favourite celebrity to work with and why?
“Working with Kylie Minogue on a Glamour cover shoot. She saw me fawning over a huge chocolate cake that had been put out for her and encouraged me to get stuck in.”
What’s your favourite social media and why?
“Twitter. Not only have I made some great work contacts through it it also often provides inspiration and content for features. I also find watching TV shows more fun when you keep an eye on the Twitter commentary going while you watch. It is not always a pleasure to see some tweets though..I guess the lack of censorship is the downside.”
Best moment so far?
“Lee McQueen handpicking a dress for Cate Blanchett to wear on the Cannes red carpet featuring one of my illustration was a huge surprise and honour – I still haven’t really gotten over that one.”

Don’t give up!
I know it is hardly a revolutionary concept, but it is so necessary to remember when you work in these circles. Resilience is key as knock backs and let downs are frequent.
Don’t be scared to put yourself out there!
In this industry you have to do a bit of self promotion – utilising social media to get your work noticed .
Be individual/unique…actually more importantly, be yourself.
In terms of styling and writing it is important to have your own style to make sure you stand out from the pack.
