As Monday and its blues are over and the weather looks like it’s picking up a little, we thought we’d share our favourite summer lip products to hopefully inspire you whether you’re at the office or jetting off somewhere exotic. This summer, we’re swearing by these lipsticks and hopefully they will make you downsize your beauty luggage instead of packing hundreds of products you will probably not use (don’t worry, we’ve all been there!).
Chanel Rouge Coco Shine in the shade Boy is probably the easiest to wear of the three shades. It’s a sheer nude which suits everyone and is super hydrating on the lips making it ideal to add a little glamour pool side.
MAC Retro Matte in the shade All Fired Up is the classic, matte red for every occasion. It can be easily layered to take you from the office to an impromptu evening out with friends and literally won’t budge for the whole night.
Revlon Colourburst in the shade Sorbet is the most fun of the shades and also the creamier in texture. This lipstick screams summer and is perfect after a long day at the beach with tousled hair, bronzed skin and barely there make up.
And just because it’s impossible to choose only three lip products, let’s not forget:
Malin & Goetz lip moisturiser (which you must slip in your hand luggage and layer every night before bed because nothing is as innovative in formula) // Dr Lipp Nipple Balm which is incredibly nourishing and an all round multitasker // Nivea Sun Protect Lip Balm remains the holy grail and is a good reminder that SPF isn’t limited only to your body.
