This month, we have been glued to our laptops in order to bring lots of new content to Miss Squiggles which we hope you have been enjoying. There are lots of exciting posts coming up in the month of August and in the meantime, do keep your eyes peeled for a July post round up early this week. To help with blog inspiration, we have loved flicking through How to Be Parisian Wherever You Are for ideas and a few laughs when work got too intense.
As the weather has been getting warmer, we’ve kept our makeup fairly minimal. We have been sporting an almost bare face with Soap and Glory Mascara paired with Glossybox Highlighter dotted on the apples of our cheeks. For nails, our go to has been the Nails Inc nailpolish in Lily Road as it’s a great take on classic white polish and a beautiful limited edition shade. Finally, when it comes to lips, Chanel lipstick in Boy (which we wrote about in this post here) hasn’t left our handbags all month as it provides instant hydration. Finally, we’ve been spritzing this Eau Thermale to instantly nourish tired complexions – it’s also works as a primer for these summer months where cream based products feel too heavy on the skin.
Regarding fashion, we have jumped on the blogger trend of flat shoes with reptile or leopard inserts which are so comfortable to use around the city when shooting yet are still glamorous (and don’t get us started on the pumps with laces that tie up past the leg which we also love!). Ours are from Monsoon but there are plenty of similar ones on Asos like these and these.
