Hello and Happy Sunday everyone!

Just a quick note today to tell you about the new Jo Malone Blue Skies & Blossoms release which we were lucky enough to try out a few weeks ago at the Cardiff Store. Inspired by the ‘playful’ and ‘carefree’ essence of Spring, Jo Malone has released three new fragrances of which some are relaunched for those trusty costumers who never quite forget their timeless favourites.

photo 4 (1)The simple gesture of bringing back past fragrances is, in fact, a symbol of how Jo Malone, as a brand, truly listens to what customers desire. This, perhaps, explains why not only they keep returning to the brand but also feel like old friends in relation to fragrances which have marked key moments of their life. In fact, treated to a few glasses of bubbly and gorgeous hand and arm massages, that’s exactly what we felt like: old friends returning once again for an overdue catch up.

The three fragrances which are part of the Blue Skies & Blossoms range are Sakura Cherry Blossom, Osmanthus Blossom (which is the freshest and lightest of the range) and Plum Blossom. The three work perfectly layered with the colognes stocked all year round and although all three are gorgeous, a firm favourite at Squiggles comms is Osmanthus Blossom layered with either the Earl Grey & Cucumber, English Pear & Freesia or Woodsage & Sea Salt (which remains a success following its release last summer).

A few more glasses of champagne followed and after stocking up on some essentials which you can see below in one of our instagram snaps (English Pear & Freesia bath oil, perfect when travelling to make any hotel room a little more personal), we were delighted to be offered a little gift as part of their Just Because campaign ( which you can find more about here) . It’s a rather lovely concept and one we should probably all adapt on a daily basis.

Just when we thought the evening couldn’t get any better, we were greeted with our very own Blue Skies & Blossoms as we said our goodbyes – Cardiff is truly beautiful.

We’re now off for a lazy Sunday lunch – here in the UK, it’s Bank Holiday tomorrow and if that wasn’t enough, the whole nation is bustling with excitement for the new arrival to the Royal Family. Our bet is on Rose for the name but ,maybe, we are just a little biased!

Love,

The Squiggles Team
