We seriously don’t think there is a more vibrant scene than Bristol, it’s urban, quirky and full of interesting people and places. It’s impossible not to feel completely rejuvenated after one visit only, your head spins with so many plans, opportunities and yes, life. Today we have a chat with Kelly Smith, Sales Manager of The Florist as we ask a couple of questions about this iconic place in the heart of one of our favourite cities across the bridge.

What does “The Florist” stand for, what can people expect when visiting your beautiful place?

The Florist is a unique brand part of New World Trading Company. We are a modern dining restaurant and bar with a pan-Asian inspired menu. Located on park street, we have the most beautiful venue in the city! We serve culinary delights, fragrant cocktails, we do masterclasses and have live DJ’s.

Please tell us about your florist classes?

We have 3 different types of masterclasses; gin, cocktail and floristry

The floristry workshops are perfect for parties of groups of 6-15. We have a great partnership with Les Fleurs florist, who come directly to us. These are great for hen dos, birthdays, or just a way to spend your Saturday afternoon. From bouquets to flower crowns you decide what you would like to make. Prices range from £30 per person

What’s the best thing about being in Bristol?

With The Florist Bristol being our ‘flagship’ it was great to open the first in Bristol. Bristol is such a beautiful city. If you pop by and sit in our orangery you will see exactly that, the great views over Bristol! We love that there is such a dynamic mix of individuals, full of personality and life. No day is dull and there is always an event or something to do!
