She likes how varied her days are…
My days are quite varied as I work flexibly around my three year old son, running All By Mama. On the days I have childcare I get my son ready and out the door early and then spend most of the day on Skype, working from home or at meetings, making sure I am finished by 5pm for my son. I then often start work again post bedtime around 8pm for a couple of hours. On the days I have my son I get up early and get some work done before we wakes up when I can (not always!). I then answer emails on my phone during the day, attend to anything urgent but try and wait until the evening to sit at the computer if I can and I then work late in the evenings to compensate. We normally hang out at the park together, in Costa or I treat him to soft play if I can face it! I like the variation although it can sometimes be a bit of a juggle. I’m so passionate about All By Mama that I find it easy to motivate myself. If I’m having a bad day I stop what I’m doing and take some time out to disengage.
