Organic beauty guru Emma Coleman launched organic and natural skincare brand Inner-Soul Organics in 2011 after working first as an NHS nurse and then as a clinical aromatherapist.
After creating bespoke products for her clients for 12 years, she decided to launch a capsule range of products and today she offers multi-award-winning, quality skincare.

My typical working day is…
…school run with my 3 boys, then dash home to pick up e-mails, go through orders and make calls. I try to schedule any meetings in the mornings if possible. If I am working on something bespoke for a client, this can take several weeks to complete so there is generally some tweaking on a project to be done to bring it closer to fruition. I formulate all the products and often design how they will look too, so bespoke and new projects can be very intense –I often dream about them in fact! I generally take time out of work between 4 and 7 with the boys after school where possible, and work late once they are in bed.

Best tip for women in business would be…
…try to focus on solving issues when something goes wrong, rather than getting stuck in the moment – there is always a solution. And trust your instincts!
