We’re back! It’s been a little while since we’ve caught up with you but, quite honestly, it’s been a whirlwind year of new clients, events and projects! The plus side of this absence? Lots and lots to catch up on so grab a cup of tea and get ready for a little series updating you on everything we’ve been up to!
It’s truly been a crazy year in the world of Miss Squiggles and while we have lots to update you on, we thought we would start with a mini throwback and a recommendation for the weekend – somewhere yummy, affordable and rather quirky! This mini recommendation was spurred on by a flick through our camera roll – almost a year ago, we were invited to the launch night of New York Diner, a super cool American style place in the heart of City Road offerings burgers, grills and shakes. A favourite among students and professionals alike, you can stop for a quick bite to eat or get one of the bigger tables and take all your friends!
On the evening, we were treated to nibble style tasters – mini burgers, sweet potato fries, wings & all the goodies. We loved the informal yet urban feel accompanied by clever interiors with industrial touches and a warm atmosphere – the launch consisted of a mixture of family, friends, journalists & media types but just felt like one big party where good music, food and drinks brought everyone together!
Almost a year after its launch (time really does fly!), we are delighted to see New York Diner doing so well. You can find them here and here to book a table / inquire about bookings.
We highly recommend it as this week’s ‘One for the Weekend’, a series where we share insights and recommendations for things to do/ see / eat / enjoy during the weekend. So, come Friday, you won’t be stuck in search of something to do!
