Welcome to the Week in Pictures! We are super guilty of holding pictures hostage on our IPhones so we have vowed to be better at sharing. Whether it’s glimpses of our weeks, what’s keeping us busy, new season buys we can’t get enough of or a fun week-night recipe, we hope you can find a little inspiration in these pictures and, perhaps, something new for the week ahead.
The New Launch – It’s been queues on queues for the long-awaited opening of Space NK here in Cardiff. Featuring over 100 established beauty brands, and offering a bespoke shopping experience, Space NK offers a beauty, skincare and fragrance hub right in the City Centre. We have popped in our lunch breaks and have our eyes on The Naturium Range & The Patchology Eye Gels to soothe tired, screen-exhausted eyes.
The Autumn Buys – This Autumn, when it comes to fashion, we are truly spoilt for choice. At the moment, we love Mint Velvet (which is offering 20% – run, don’t walk) for great office pieces which can be adapted for a smart-casual look or a weekend dinner. If you have a Christmas party, it’s never too early to bag your outfit – we love this fun take on the classic shirt dress. When it comes to footwear, we love these Parma Violet Vejas which are perfect for off-duty denim days and also on sale.
The Simple Pleasures – It might be these glorious heatwaves we are being treated to – which are making spending time outside a real treat – or a seasonal urge to take it back to basics but this week, we have been getting our fill of small joys. Think cosy dinners with no screen-time, a fresh vase of roses or buying tickets for a local show. On Friday Night, we went to the The Alternative Cabaret and discovered Millie Rose Music – we hope to hear more from this artist whose sound will surely be making its way to our Autumn playlist for slow, candle-lit evenings.
